  • Bioethics.net

Links to bioethics issues in the news and abstracts from the American Journal of Bioethics, including features on cloning, genetics and other hot topics.
  • BioTech: Life Sciences Resources and Reference Tools

Includes an illustrated dictionary of life science terms, a chemical acronym database, an annotated list of science resources, an introduction to bioinformatics and more.
  • Cells Alive

Information on all aspects of cell biology including images and video.
  • Human Genome Project

A government-maintained site containing research, issues, publications and educational information.
  • Tree of Life

The goal of this site is to eventually contain a page with pictures, text and other information for every species and for each group of organisms -- living or extinct. Pages are linked in a hierarchy beginning with family. Another feature includes extensive bibliographies for most pages.
  • Understanding Evolution

Major sections of this site explain evolution, explore its impact on everyday life, examine evidence and recount the history of evolutionary theory. There also are sections on current news relating to evolution and resources for teachers.
