What are some credible sites about computer science?
- A digital library containing full-text journals, magazines, publications and more.
- An online collection of artifacts and stories about the Information Age.
- Information on computers, autos, electronics, science, home, entertainment, money, travel and people can be found here.
- Clear and concise Internet tutorials that are updated frequently. Tutorials cover everything from basic Internet use to advanced Web searching.
- Good general history of the development of the Internet that includes a newsletter, Weblog (blog), and links to additional resources.
- Based on research surveys and analysis, this site gives information on how the public is using the Web for communication, information, financial transactions, hobbies and entertainment. Charts and graphs of activities are included.
- Easy to navigate site that covers all aspects of Web design from accessibility to XML.
- Offers Web development tutorials, articles and advice for novice through experienced Web designers.
- Dictionary/encyclopedia that provides explanations of everything related to computer science and the Internet. Also contains a pronunciation guide, current technology news and a free newsletter.
- A site about information technology, especially the Internet and computers. It contains over 2,000 individual encyclopedic definition/topics and a number of quick-reference pages.
- The online version of this popular print magazine is available for free. Its mission is to "uncover the most surprising and resonant stories about the people, companies, technologies and ideas that are transforming our lives." Also includes an archive of past issues.
