What are some credible sites about nursing?

- This site contains current news as well as selected full-text articles from journals such as JAMA, American Medical News and Archives of Internal Medicine.
- This comprehensive source for registered nurses includes links to articles and issues in nursing. Includes the Online Journal of Issues in Nursing, Nursing World and Nursing Insider.
- The Best Hospitals for 2007 as ranked by U.S. News & World Report.
- This Web site features 1,247 pictures from the classic 1918 publication of Gray's Anatomy. Also contains a subject index.
- This site helps to provide a better understanding of the many clinical lab tests that are part of routine health care.
- This site brings together health information from various reputable government agencies. It includes simple health information, medical encyclopedia, tutorials and drug/supplement information.
- Online version of a standard nursing reference text. Viewers can browse the Web site by general topic or search by keyword.
- The focus of this organization is to support research, outreach and integration of complementary and alternative medicine. The site includes information on health, research, training, clinical trials and more.
- NCEMNA offers information and links to American nurses' associations representing major U.S. ethnic groups.
- NFLPN is the national organization for LPNs, vocational nurses and nursing students. The site has information on continuing education, scholarships and links to state affiliates.
- This site provides information concerning its own funding initiatives, including diversity programs and resources, links to nursing-related Web sites, and publications from national conferences.
- Pub Med is a service of the National Library of Medicine. It provides and index to more than 15 million biomedical and nursing articles plus a full-text collection of biomedical books.
- A Web site created by nurses for nurses and nursing students. Of particular interest is the "Careplan Corner" -- which houses many examples of nursing care plans that can be printed, modified or saved.
- Comprehensive drug information, including description, clinical pharmacology, indications and dosage, side effects, interactions, warnings, precautions, etc.
