  • The American Presidency Project

    An array of information relating to all of the American presidents. This site has digitized versions of more than 76,000 documents including presidential papers, executive orders, proclamations, addresses, press conferences and more. The site also contains summary data for elections, approval ratings and Congressional Activity.
  • Atlapedia

    Contains full-color physical and political maps as well as key facts and statistics on countries of the world.
  • Brookings Institution

    The Brookings Institution aims to be a nonpartisan organization devoted to research, analysis, education and publication focused on public policy issues in the areas of economics, foreign policy and governance.
  • FactCheck.org: Annenberg Political Fact Check

    This nonpartisan Web site analyzes the accuracy of major political speeches, debates and ads.
  • Illinois Issues

    A magazine covering all aspects of Illinois public affairs, with articles focusing on Illinois-related politics, current events, social issues, etc. The site contains an online archive that dates back to 1975. The Library keeps paper copies of the last three years.
