HCC Night at Prairie Thunder Game Feb. 20
If you're tired of the ice outdoors, check out the ice indoors at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 as the Bloomington Prairie Thunder celebrate Heartland Community College Night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
As the Thunder skate into battle against the Port Huron Ice Hawks that Saturday, several additional activities will make the evening especially exciting, including:
- A jersey auction, in which game-worn jerseys signed by Prairie Thunder players will be available for sale to the highest bidders. Several jerseys will be auctioned off, making it a great opportunity to get your hands on some limited-edition sportswear
- The chance for attendees to score a goal in the Goalee Shoot Out, win some cash in the 50/50 raffle, and participate in the popular Chuck-A-Puck contest.
Tickets for the Prairie Thunder's Heartland Community College Night game are available for $12 from the HCC Cashier, or by calling the U.S. Cellular Coliseum Box Office at (309) 434-2658 and mentioning the promo code word HRTLND. A portion of the proceeds from the game as well as the evening's other events will go toward Heartland's general scholarship fund. Since 1992, the Heartland Foundation has committed more than $700,000 to deserving students.
