Readiness Center construction is expected to begin this week. Please use caution and be alert when on campus.
Beginning the week of November 19, 2012, there will be increased traffic on campus as the College and its project partners prepare for the development of the Readiness Center. A construction company will begin staging this week, which includes the delivery of construction trailers to campus. An installation of construction fencing for limiting access to the site and silt fencing for erosion control will follow.
Construction activity is likely to exist through mid-summer 2014. As always, HCC is taking this opportunity to remind students, faculty, staff and community visitors to use extreme caution when on campus. Please follow on-campus speed limits and defer to any construction workers who may be temporarily conducting traffic as building materials are delivered and construction vehicles enter and exit campus using Millennium Avenue.
