ISU On-the-Spot Admissions February 6th

On Thursday, February 6, representatives from Illinois State University's (ISU) Office of Admissions will visit Heartland Community College to provide "On-the-Spot Admissions" for students interested in starting at ISU in the summer or fall of 2014. This opportunity is open to students who still need to apply to ISU or who are awaiting a decision regarding their current application*.

Appointments for ISU On-the-Spot sessions can be made at Advisement (CCB 1000) or by calling (309) 268-8033.  Appointments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis until 5 p.m. Monday, February 3. Prior to the appointment students must:

  • Submit an application and $40 fee online at www.admissions.ilstu.edu/apply. Once submitted, students will have the ability to print the application and are required to bring a copy to the appointment. (Application must be submitted no later than February 3)
  • Obtain their official Heartland transcript, which must be requested in advance.
  • Obtain official transcripts from each previous college or university attended.
  • Obtain a copy of official high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores if less than 24 semester hours of college credit have been earned.
  • Meet all admission requirements.

Admission decisions are made based on thorough evaluation of all application materials and transcripts.  In some cases, On-the-Spot Admission may not be possible.

*Students returning to ISU must go through ISU's readmission process
