Teal Ribbon Month Kick-Off

April is Teal Ribbon Month, so Heartland will be displaying teal ribbons tied on trees representing support of sexual assault survivors. Show your support by attending the Teal Ribbon Kick-off event at 2 p.m. by the flagpole on the quad on Tuesday, April 1. Bring your friends and help Heartland tie the teal ribbons. This is an opportunity for all to show support of sexual assault survivors, but also begin a conversation of ways to end sexual violence.  It IS our business, and we are all responsible for a healthy community.

Continue your support by participating in other teal ribbon month activities:

  • Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - 2 p.m. Teal Ribbon Kick-off at the Flagpole on the Quad
  • Wednesday, April 2 through Friday, April 11 - Clothesline Project will be hung in the Cafe' and artwork will be displayed created by sexual assault survivors
  • Pick up a teal ribbon lapel pin from Student Success, Student Engagement or the Fitness and Recreation Center. Wear your teal ribbon all month.

Thank you for your continued support.
