Community Day: Free Classes and Activities

Kick off summer on June 7 with Community Day at Heartland Community College.

Community Day is your chance to see what Heartland has to offer students and the community. Stop by Heartland’s campus Saturday, June 7 from 9 am – 2pm for free classes, activities, and tons of fun.

Classes start at 9 am and are 50 minutes in length. All other activities start at 10 am. Here’s a glimpse of what you can get involved with:

  • FREE classes, activities, and demonstrations - cooking, technology, fitness, the environment and more
  • Live music – Chicken Shack and In the Wake
  • Glitter Fairy • Zoo Lady • Child Development Screenings
  • 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament for 5th-12-th grades with 5th/6th, 7th/8th and high school divisions (Sign up here)
  • Bike rodeo for kids
  • Challenger Learning Center classes
  • EV Car test drives
  • Fishing at Birky Pond
  • Campus trolley tours
