Employers Turn to Customized Training for an Advantage

As the job market tightens, employers are seeking innovative ways to stay on the cutting edge. Many are now choosing to invest in their employees with customized training. Heartland is responding to those needs with customized training from the Customized Training Department.

Striving to enhance the economic well-being of our community, Heartland's Customized Training Department provides customized training and professional development to individuals, area businesses and industries, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations.

Whether working to build employees' computer skills or help managers find new avenues of leadership, the Customized Training Department works closely with the rest of the college to provide training and work force development to the surrounding community. It may be a need for occupational language or organizational effectiveness, but the managers and instructors of the Customized Training Department tailor training to the needs of the company or organization.
