Student and faculty artwork chosen for Illinois Community College exhibit

Artwork created by students and faculty from Heartland Community College has been selected for Northern Illinois University’s Community College Juried Student Exhibition and Faculty Invitational.

The NIU School of Art and Design will present an exhibition of artwork from community colleges in Illinois at the Jack Arends Art Building in DeKalb, February 9-23, 2018.

Artwork created by nine Heartland students, as well as work from faculty members Jane Camp and Michael McAvoy will be on display.

The following pieces were selected for inclusion in the exhibit:

Student artwork will be included in the juried exhibition. Winners of the juried exhibition will be announced during a reception at NIU on February 9, 2018.
