Automatic Bank Payment (ACH)

The automatic bank payment (ACH) is one convenient way to use automatic payment plan. ACH are those payments you have authorized Nelnet Business Solutions to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your expenses at Heartland Community College. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance due the College is paid in full.

If paying by automatic bank payments you will need the bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check

Note: Should an ACH be missed or returned, a $30 missed payment fee will be automatically assessed to your account. You will be notified by Nelnet Business Solutions of the missed payment via mail or email. A second attempt of the ACH will be processed on the 20th of the month for any that were missed or returned on the 5th of the month.
