Quickstart Guide for myHeartland

Using myHeartland is easy. Students, just follow the general instructions listed below the first time you access myHeartland (detailed instructions are included through Password Station).
Note: Instructors should skip the instructions below and login to myHeartland using their network login and password:

  1. Visit myHeartland at https://my.heartland.edu.
  2. Click on the Password Station link.
  3. Enter your login name (found on your class schedule), and click, "I agree."
  4. Follow the instructions to create / reset password.
  5. Follow the instructions to change security questions.
  6. Sign out of Password Station, and close the window.
  7. Go back to myHeartland, and log in.

This new online service allows you to access information any time, anywhere. With one login name and password, you have many online College resources at your fingertips, including:

  • IRIS, Internet Registration, Information & Services
  • WebCT, the online course management system
  • Heartland Email
  • Library Services
  • Network File Storage
  • College Announcements
  • Class Meeting Cancellations
