Reading Center

The Reading Center exists to improve each students' reading and language skills by meeting them where they are in their reading progression and moving them forward. As a result, students will be better prepared for other educational environments and for life experiences in general.

What can the Heartland Community College Reading Center offer me?

The individual needs of students of all ages and backgrounds are met through small-group instruction using current brain-based theory in an atmosphere that fosters support, respect, and productivity. By partnering with each student, goals are made to maximize reading potential, improve self-confidence, and enhance enthusiasm for reading.
