Welcome to the Social and Business Sciences Division at Heartland Community College. I invite you to explore on this site the many courses and programs of study we have to offer you.

If you are seeking to prepare yourself for a new career in business in two years or less or update your skills for your existing job, we offer certificate and degree programs in Accounting, Applied Computer Science, Office Technology, Business, and Insurance.

If you are interested in Education, we offer a Paraprofessional Educator degree, as well as transfer preparation for any level of K-12 education, including special education.

If you are seeking to transfer to a 4-year college or university, our Division offers transfer preparation programs for Business (Accounting, Business, Applied Computer Science, and Economics) and the Social Sciences (Anthropology, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work).
