Degree NOW Program
Heartland is actively creating opportunities for students to graduate with a high school diploma and an associate's degree from Heartland simultaneously.
We currently only offer custom plans for high school students interested in computer science through leveraging a combination of appropriate high school and Heartland courses.
High school partners are responsible for establishing admission requirements and inviting/accepting students to participate in the program.
- High school Degree NOW cohort students are expected to commit to completing the established 4-year plan/schedule.
High school students in this program could transfer to a college/university as a junior after successful completion. Students are strongly encouraged to work with their 4-year school of choice regarding transferability.
Students are charged tuition/fees for courses that take place through Heartland on-campus/online.
In-district high schools are welcome to submit an inquiry to express interest in establishing a Computer Science Degree NOW partnership with Heartland or exploring other potential degree options.
