    HCC Agriculture Club is for students exploring careers in the agricultural sector. It is a club that helps HCC students learn more about agriculture jobs and careers, that connects HCC students to local agriculture representatives, businesses, internships, job shadowing and other learning opportunities.     The Black Student Union of Heartland Community College aims to promote educational success and prosperity in the lives of all our members. We hope to accomplish this by holding workshops for our students academic needs, by having peer-to-peer mentorship, and by having successful African American guest speakers give informative lectures.     Heartland Hackers is a Computer Science Club open to all students interested in all things Computers and Technology. The Heartland Hackers aims to provide learning, networking, and career opportunities to the students of Heartland Community College. Learn more about Heartland Hackers

  • Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

    Phi Beta Lambda is an organization preparing students for careers in their chosen field. Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Students may also compete at the state and national levels in business and technology events.   • Portable Perks

    An initiative of the HALO program, this club provides and opportunity to students to reach out to Heartland's staff and students to foster communication and acceptance for all individuals, while practicing classroom and life skills through a coffee service.     The HCC PTA club is comprised of students enrolled in the HCC PTA Program and provides opportunity for professional growth and collaboration as a group. The mission of the club is to support student success through activities and fund raising events that foster program growth, achievement of a career path, and community education on the values of physical therapy.   • Student Veterans of America

    The Heartland Community College Veterans Center provides veterans with many of the tools necessary to ensure lasting academic success. It provides camaraderie, a place to study and is an informational hub for veteran specific programs and needs. The Veterans Center is located in SCB 1101.   • Heartland Activities Committee

    Heartland Activities Committee is a student organization, whose purpose is to plan and present entertainment and educational programs primarily for the student body of Heartland Community College, although the programs are normally open to the general public. The students involved in Heartland Activities Committee review and select potential performers/programs; market, plan, and produce the events and all relevant components; and evaluate all aspects of the programs upon completion.     SLAC provides students the opportunity and access to connect with like minded individuals who are interested in engaging and discussing media in all forms; from books, to movies, to music, no topic is off the table. SLAC also sponsors library events such as book sales, poetry readings, book discussions, celebrations, and supports other library initiatives.     Our club C.H.O.S.E.N is a campus ministry created to glorify Jesus Christ! This is an opportunity for students from all over campus to gather together, explore his word, and worship his holy name! A place where Christians can connect with other like-minded believers. We were all CHOSEN by Christ to reflect him here on earth, to uplift one another, and live a spirit filled life.   • Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ)

    Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting students at Heartland and ISU to Jesus. We hold a weekly Life Group on Mondays at 3:30-4:30pm at the Heartland Cafe. Life Group is a place to get to know others, grow in our faith and read the Bible together.
