    The idea behind the club is to give students a open forum where they can freely share their writing and get positive criticism or feedback.     Phi Beta Lambda is a business organization preparing students for careers in business and business-related fields. Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career deelopment programs. Students may also compete at the state and national levels in business and technology events.     Heartland Activities Committee is a student organization, whose purpose is to plan and present entertainment and educational programs primarily for the student body of Heartland Community College, although the programs are normally open to the general public. The students involved in Heartland Activities Committee review and select potential performers/programs; market, plan, and produce the events and all relevant components; and evaluate all aspects of the programs upon completion. Sports/Recreation

  • Heartland Bass Hawks

    The club will entail HCC students who enjoy bass fishing and getting together with other fisherman and fishing at local lakes and ponds. While also having the opportunity to compete along side with the ISU bass fishing club at FLW, B.A.S.S., and Collegiate Boat US tournaments. Also many other fun local tournaments as well.     We are four African dancers. We do Afro dancing, which is a combination of modern African and hip-hop dance. We are self-taught choreographers. We're looking forward to expanding our group. We plan on traveling to different states to perform in shows and events. We would to make the Afro dance popular in America. You don't have to be a dancer or African to come and have fun.
