The Quality Technology Certificate is a one-year program designed to prepare graduates for employment of advancement in industrial and manufacturing organizations in areas dealing with process and product quality. The program includes introductions to computers, blueprint reading, metrology, manufacturing processes, statistics and quality control, statistical process control, materials science and production and operations management, and allows students to select an elective course, Students choosing to continue their education after the Quality Technology Certificate may easily continue into the Manufacturing Technology Associate in Applied Science degree.

By completing this certificate you may apply for employment as a freight and cargo inspector (SOC code 53-6051.08), non-destructive testing specialist (SOC code 17-3029.01), inspector, tester, sorter, sampler, and weigher (SOC code 51-9061.00), and quality control analyst (SOC code 19-4099.01). The total program cost for completing this certificate is $4061 for tuition and fees and $981 for books and supplies.
