How can I pursue a program at another Illinois community college which is not offered at Heartland?

Students who are residents of Heartland's District 540 interested in pursuing a program at another Illinois Community College which is not offered at Heartland Community College may qualify for Chargeback/Cooperative Agreement benefits.

Heartland Community College participates in the Comprehensive Agreement Regarding the Expansion of Education Resources (CAREER). This agreement allow students, who reside in Heartland's District 540, to take career educational programs, NOT offered by Heartland, at the participating college's in-district tuition rate.

Students wishing to take advantage of these cooperative agreements must complete a Chargeback/Cooperative Agreement Application at least 30 days prior to the start of the term they will begin their studies. Planning is the secret to a successful transfer. Applications are available at Student Services at the Normal campus and Pontiac and Lincoln Centers.
