Transfer students from Heartland perform as well as or better academically at four-year institutions than the students who begin their careers there, according to transfer institutions.
The u.select system is a free service to anyone interested in learning: how courses transfer between participating colleges and universities, the degree programs colleges and universities offer and how you can best plan for your transfer. The u.select system works best for students who already know where they are going to transfer or, at least, have their options narrowed down to a few colleges or universities. In addition, it works well for students who plan to come home and take one or two classes at a local college to transfer them back to their native institution.
You will find u.select helpful and efficient in your planning for transfer. However, you are encouraged to plan your course of study carefully and early. Also, seek detailed information from your advisor and the college or university to which you wish to transfer.
