CHLD 103: Environmental Design to Support Children’s Play

The types and functions of play are studied, along with an exploration of play techniques that allow children to exercise their physical abilities, learn about their world, and cope with their conflicts and emotions. The role of the teacher in facilitating play and choosing appropriate equipment is emphasized. 3 credit hours
