HCC @ Your Career Center

• Your high school counselor OR career center staff will provide the information you need to complete the registration process.  
• We enroll students in HCC courses offered through career centers according to the rosters submitted by each career center.
• There are no placement testing requirements for career-technical education courses.
• You need only submit the HCC student application for the opportunity to earn college credit: heartland.edu/collegeNow/admission/applyNOW.
• You can take Heartland courses through your career center for high school credit only; however,  we cannot award college credit after course completion.

Course registration into Heartland's system happens at different times for Heartland courses offered through career centers. Use the chart below as your guide and ask your career center instructor to confirm that your name was included on the dual credit course rosters submitted by your high school.
