Types of Programs for Children 3-5

The educational programs available to children between the ages of three and five vary widely depending on the needs and disability of the child. Even though historically educational services for children three to five have been segregated by disability or an at-risk label, the challenge today is to meld these programs and services into a more integrated preschool environment that serves all children regardless of disability label.
