Tenure-Track Faculty: Industrial Technology
We seek applicants for a full-time appointment within the College’s STEM and Business division anticipated to begin Fall 2019. This position may include teaching evening or weekend classes, at off-campus locations, or in alternative delivery formats. Position will include teaching dual credit metals class for the Area Career Center in addition to on-campus credit classes.
In addition to primary teaching functions, responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Develop curriculum and engage in laboratory development and maintenance
- Participate in assessment related to student learning outcomes
- Participate in departmental and College-wide initiatives and events as appropriate
- Associate’s degree in Welding, Manufacturing, or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one year of full-time industrial work experience in welding, manufacturing, or related areas
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Manufacturing, Technical Education, or related field
- Successful college-level teaching experience in Industrial Technology areas including welding and manufacturing
- AWS certification
- Ability to teach a broad range of welding, metals, and manufacturing courses
