Heartland Adjunct Faculty Association (HAFA) – IFT 6077
Welcome to HAFA!
The Heartland Adjunct Faculty Association (HAFA) is a union community comprised of the part-time faculty from Heartland Community College, committed to improving our working conditions and advocating for our students' success. As members of the Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT, Local 6077) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), we're dedicated to making positive changes.
In HAFA, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. That's why we're not just focused on our own needs; we're also passionate about supporting our students every step of the way. From the classroom to the campus and beyond, we're here to ensure everyone has the resources and support they need to thrive.
