Heartland Community College will host the Spring 2027 Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 14 at Grossinger Motors Arena in downtown Bloomington.

To finish your program and (if you choose) participate in commencement, you must complete the following:
This is required for all students completing a degree or certificate, including Nurse Assistant and EMT. The earlier you apply, the better.
2. Confirm your commencement participation
We also hope you celebrate your accomplishments by participating in the Commencement ceremony. This step is required only if you plan to walk in the Commencement ceremony.
Applying for graduation does not automatically sign you up to be part of the Commencement ceremony. These are two different steps.
Your academic advisor can help you determine how close you are to graduation and answer questions about your specific plan of study. Additionally, you can run your own Academic Progress report. It allows you to chart your progress toward completing the course requirements for your degree.
