Cap & Gown
All students must apply for graduation before ordering cap and gown.
Caps and gowns are only ordered for those students who identify that they would like to participate in the in-person Commencement event.
To order your cap and gown, make sure to complete the Commencement participation activity guide assigned to you in your student center.
All students participating in Commencement will receive a free cap, gown, and tassel to wear at the ceremony. Cap and gown distribution will begin the week of Commencement in the Workforce Development Center, Room 1000 (Student Leadership Space) during the dates and times below.
- May 12, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- May 13, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- May 14, 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- May 15, 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Special Cap and Gown Pick-Up Information:
Adult Ed students must visit SCB 1000 to pick up their cap and gown. Listed dates and times will be avaible closer to the Commencement date.
College Now Plus students should follow the same Cap and Gown instructions as undergraduates. Please visit the Workforce Development Center during the listed times below.

- May 13, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- May 14, 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- May 15, 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- HALO students should coordinate their regalia pick-up via the HALO team.
- Listed dates and times will be avaible closer to the Commencement date.
Pontiac Campus students must visit the Pontiac Campus during the listed times below.
- May 12, 9 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- May 13, 9 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- May 14, 9 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
