Step 3: Review Class Schedule
Locate the class(es) you'd like to take and ensure you have met the prerequisites.
If you plan to enroll in an online class, check the class description:
- For some online classes, you may need access to a webcam and a laptop to complete exams.
- For other online classes, there may be a requirement for exams to be completed in an in-person proctored testing environment.
Step 4: Submit Unofficial Transcript
To take classes at Heartland, you need to verify that you meet the prerequisites.
- If you have previous college credit, submit an unofficial transcript or progress summary.
- If prior coursework does not meet prerequisites, completeplacement testing or submit documentation to waive placement.
