Instructions for Scheduling
If you have approved testing accommodations, please review the section titled "Scheduling your Course Exam with Accommodations".
Schedule your Course Testing appointment for the Normal Campus, Pontiac Center, and Lincoln Center through Navigate 360.
Step #1. Navigate to the Appointments tab.
Step #2. Click Schedule an Appointment at the top right.
Step #3. Follow the prompts:
- What can we help you with? Select Testing Center
- What would you like to do? Select Course Testing
- Pick a Date: Choose your preferred testing date.
Step #4. Click Find Available Time
Step #5. Select the course for which you would like to test.
Step #6. Select your preferred testing time under the appropriate testing location.
*You are required to arrive for your appointment at the start time; late arrivals will not be seated.
Scheduling your Course Exam with Accommodations
Students that intend to leverage only their SAAS-approved accommodations for extended testing time and/or use of an approved medical device will complete their exams in the Testing Center or Lincoln Center/Pontiac Center. These students may schedule their appointments using the Navigate360 instructions and link provided above.
Students that intend to leverage their SAAS-approved accommodation for a private testing room will complete their exams in the Testing Center, WDC 2600, but must call the Testing Center (309.268.8077) or SAAS (309.268.8259) to schedule.
Students with SAAS-approved accommodations for a reader, scribe, etc. will complete their exams in the SAAS Office, SCB 1415. These students must schedule at least 48 hours in advance with Student Access & Accommodations.
Arrival
Please arrive by the start time of your scheduled exam. Course exams are booked in 15-minute increments as each course exam differs in length of time as established by your instructor.
For example, if you choose the time slot for 9:00-9:15AM, you are expected to arrive no later than 9:15AM. Late arrivals will not be permitted to test and the appointment must be rescheduled.
To ensure all testers have adequate time to begin their exams before closing, the Testing Center will not accept check-ins after 5:45PM Mondays - Thursdays or after 12:45PM on Fridays. Please note that our final testing appiontments slot is 5:30PM-5:45PM (Monday - Thursday) and 12:30PM-12:45PM (Fridays).
What to Bring
Please arrive for your appointment with the following:
- HCC ID Number [for check-in]
- Physical Photo ID
- HCC login Credentials [Username & Password]
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so via Navigate 360. Duplicate appointments will be cancelled. If you require further assistance or can't find what you need online, please call the campus where you wish to schedule your appointment. We're happy to assist!
