Community Proctoring
The HCC Testing Center offers a variety of exams for the community!
Heartland Community College Testing Center is a certified test site for Meazure Learning. These select high-stakes exams are to be scheduled through Meazure Learning. Upon registering, we invite you to choose Heartland Community College Testing Center as your desired Meazure Learning testing location.
Meazure Learning testing is available on select days and times monthly and accessed via the Meazure Learning scheduling system.
Heartland Community College Testing Center is a certified test site for Illinois Nurse Aide Testing Certified Nursing Assistant Computer-Based Exam. This exam is to be schedule through Southern Illinois Nurse Aide Testing [SIU]. Upon registering, we invite you to choose Heartland Community College Testing Center as your desired CNA testing location.
Our CNA exam schedule is established yearly and posted through Southern Illinois Nurse Aide Testing scheduling system.
Fill out the form below to request an External Testing appointment. This form is to be completed by the tester and must include exam details and instructor contact information.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the HCC Testing Center [testing@heartland.edu] as soon as possible. Failure to communicate your absence [no-show] will result in your request being declined and you will not be permitted to reschedule.
You must complete this form at least 3 business days prior to your desired testing date and we must receive your exam materials from your instructor / institution at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled exam.
Heartland Community College Testing Center is a certified test site for Pearson VUE. These select high-stakes exams are to be scheduled through Pearson VUE. Upon registering, we invite you to choose Heartland Community College Testing Center as your desired Pearson VUE testing location.
High School Equivalency (HSE) exams are administered at Heartland Community College through Pearson VUE Testing. These exams are offered at all three HCC locations: Normal, Lincoln and Pontiac.

TEAS Testing is not administered by the HCC Testing Center.

The HiSET exam is not administered at the HCC Testing Center

Payment Information:
Any payment required for your exam must be paid prior to testing. The Testing Center can accept card transactions, but cash / checks must be processed in the HCC Business Office.
Cashier hours will be 8AM - 4:30PM Monday through Friday. Cash or Check payments must be made in-person to the Cashier in in the Business Office, Suite 2100 in the Community Commons Building (CCB) prior to testing.

The following Testing Guidelines have been established:
Exam Entry Requirements:
- Physical Photo ID [HCC or State ID], HCC Account Credentials [Username & Password]
- HCC Student ID Number, Course Number, & Instructor's Name
- Scheduled Testing Appointment
- Your name MUST be on the course roster
Expectations:
- Exams are adminstered in accordance with the instructor established specifications.
- If you arrive late to your testing appointment, you are not guaranteed admittance.
- All exams are collected at closing and polite cooperation is expected. Violators will be reported to the Dean of Students & Security.
- Communication to your peers of any kind is prohibited in the Testing Rooms.
- Children are NOT allowed in the Testing Rooms.
Personal Items & Electronic Device Policy:
Resources not explicitly approved by your instructor are prohibited in the Testing Rooms. You are expected to lock all personal items in a locker. Violators will be reported to the Dean of Students.
- All Electronic Devices: Laptops, Headphones, Smart Watches, Cell Phones, etc. (all of which must be powered OFF)
- Backpacks, Purses, Pencil Pouches, etc.
- All outerwear: Scarves, Coats, Jackets, etc.
- Water is permitted but the bottle will be inspected and must also be spill-proof.
Academic Integrity:
Academic Integrity and compliance with the HCC Student Code of Conduct are expected of all students while in the Testing Center. Suuspected violators will be reported to all appropriate Administrators & Instructors.
