Community Proctoring
The HCC Testing Center offers a variety of exams for the community!
Heartland Community College Testing Center is a certified test site for Meazure Learning. These select high-stakes exams are to be scheduled through Meazure Learning. Upon registering, we invite you to choose Heartland Community College Testing Center as your desired Meazure Learning testing location.
Meazure Learning testing is available on select days and times monthly and accessed via the Meazure Learning scheduling system.
Heartland Community College Testing Center is a certified test site for Illinois Nurse Aide Testing Certified Nursing Assistant Computer-Based Exam. This exam is to be schedule through Southern Illinois Nurse Aide Testing [SIU]. Upon registering, we invite you to choose Heartland Community College Testing Center as your desired CNA testing location.
Our CNA exam schedule is established yearly and posted through Southern Illinois Nurse Aide Testing scheduling system.
- The HCC Testing Center is currently unable to provide proctoring services for exams from other institutions.
Heartland Community College Testing Center is a certified test site for Pearson VUE. These select high-stakes exams are to be scheduled through Pearson VUE. Upon registering, we invite you to choose Heartland Community College Testing Center as your desired Pearson VUE testing location.
High School Equivalency (HSE) exams are administered at Heartland Community College through Pearson VUE Testing. These exams are offered at all three HCC locations: Normal, Lincoln and Pontiac.

TEAS Testing is not administered by the HCC Testing Center.

The HiSET exam is not administered at the HCC Testing Center

Heartland Community College’s Testing Center will proctor the Illinois State Police Merit Board Exam with approval from the organization. HCC charges a $15 fee for this exam. Once you have been approved for this exam, please fill out the request to schedule below.

HCC Cashier information:
Cashier hours will be 8AM - 4:30PM Monday through Friday. Payments may be made in-person to the Cashier in in the Business Office, Suite 2100 in the Community Commons Building (CCB) prior to testing. Payments may be made in the form of cash, check, and/or a credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).

The following Testing Guidelines have been established:
- A testing appointment is required for all testing.
- All students must adhere to Heartland's Standards of Care.
- A Physical Photo ID is required for all testing.
- Please arrive to the Testing Center knowing your course number, instructor's name, your student ID number, and HCC student account information [username & password] for check-in
- In order to take your exam, your name must be listed on your instructor's request form.
- We will not administer exams after the instructor-specified deadline.
- ALL personal belongings must be stored in a provided locker. Only materials permitted for use on the exam are permitted in the Testing Room.
- Cell phones, smart watches and all other non-medical electronic devices must be silenced and stored in a provided locker. All medical electronic devices that you wish to take into the Testing Room must be approved through SAAS.
- Unaccompanied Minors: Children are not allowed in the Testing Room. Minors in the Testing Center must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Arrangements can be made for childcare by completing the Night Hawk Form.
- Water is allowed in the testing room in a secured bottle after it is checked by Testing Center Staff.
- Academic integrity and compliance with the student code of conduct are expected of all students while in the Testing Center. Suspected violations will be reported all appropriate channels.
- If you arrive late to your testing appointment, you are not guaranteed admittance.
- All exams are collected at closing. Any opposition is considered misconduct and will be reported.
Some exam sponsors do not allow any personal items in the testing room, including clear water bottles.
