Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp

Make the most of in-house talent by setting up Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to replicate what they know as effective technical trainers. Heartland Community College’s Train-the-Trainer Boot Camp strengthens SMEs’ ability to build front-line employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in specific areas. 

Participants will learn how to: 

• Teach and coach using strategies proven to work best with adults on the job
• Suggest types of data that will assess the effectiveness of on-the-job training
• Communicate with management regarding employee progress toward performance targets

Because we know your SMEs are valuable to the organization, we have designed this experience to minimize time away from the workplace. The classroom session is a robust two days, followed by direct observation from a Heartland Community College instructor for real-time observation and coaching.
