Student Art Show Submissions
The Joe McCauley is pleased to host the Student Art Show. Heartland Community College's Student Art Show will open on October 21st and run through May 9th, 2025 at the Joe McCauley Gallery, ICB 2507.
Submission Guidelines:
- All HCC ART students, current or former, are eligible.
-
All applicants are required to fill out and submit an electronic form for each artwork. Submissions will not be accepted without a form on file.
- As this is a community exhibition, the artworks submitted must be appropriate for all ages.
- All artwork must be original to the submitting artist. Submitting work that is a reproduction, plagiaristic, or misrepresentative in nature is grounds for dismissal from the exhibition and may result in future restrictions for application.
- All artwork must be ready for display. Framing, matting or mounting of 2D works is not required.
- We encourage students to price their artwork if they wish to sell it, though it is not required. The Gallery will put potential buyers in direct contact with the artist.
- Students are encouraged to consult their art faculty when choosing their submission(s).
Artwork must be dropped off with Emma Grant, Administrative Assistant for Liberal Art and Social Sciences, in ICB 2000.
Artists will be notified via the email provided on their submission form with more information about when their artwork will be on display. Artwork can be picked up from ICB 2000 at the end of its display period. Any exhibited artwork not picked up by the end of June 2025 will be considered a donation to the LASS division.
