Campbell named Dean of Career and Technical Education
May 24, 2023Heartland Community College has filled an important position to support students in hands-on fields of study that meet the area workforce.
Adam Campbell has been named Dean of Career and Technical Education (CTE). The role is responsible for leading the division at the college that includes work-ready programs in business technology, information technology, and industrial technology.
In his position, Campbell provides supervision, planning, and coordination of full-time and part-time faculty and staff in CTE disciplines. He also assists the Heartland Community College Provost with divisional planning and budgeting.
Campbell previously served as Senior Assistant Director for Private Business and Vocational Schools at the Illinois Board of Higher Education before coming to Heartland in 2021 as Associate Dean of CTE. He has been serving as Interim Dean for the division since May 2022.
