Elevating Entrepreneurs

Students win with business pitches

On Friday, May 15, 2020,  Heartland students competed at Elevating Entrepreneurs.

The four finalists pitched their creative business ideas to a panel of local entrepreneurs to win money for their business.

First place went to Daniel Gibson for Dan’s Place: a sustainably-minded business centered around clean and renewable energy products.

Harlan Kupferschmid came in second with his expansive ideas for taking over the family business, Kupferschmid Appliances.
