Coronavirus Updates

To ensure the safety of our learners, instructors, and employees, adjustments to the following programs may be made based on State of Illinois mitigations.

For further questions, please contact our office at (309) 268-8160.

Traffic Safety School

Individuals enrolled in upcoming in-person classes can complete their Traffic Safety School course online. You will be contacted by our staff and provided with all the details. Future face-to-face classes will be scheduled once mitigations allow those to resume.

Truck Driver Training

The Truck Driver Training program continues to operate in a modified version. Please check for details on upcoming truck classes before coming to campus.

Facilities Use

Heartland Community College facilities are open and available for rent under our current Standard of Care with COVID safety precautions in place. We encourage you to contact us at (309) 268-8202 to discuss your facility rental needs.

Online Learning Opportunities

Our online learning opportunities can be enjoyed at your convenience and from any location. Choose from hundreds of classes to strengthen your professional skills or discover a new hobby or talent.

Spring Continuing Education Programs

Enjoy a mix of live Zoom, online, and small face-to-face programs. If you choose to enjoy an on-campus class, we ask that you adhere to the College Standard of Care, including sanitizing your hands upon entry of the building, wearing a mask, and maintaining proper social distancing.

In the event that we are unable to host your class in-person, we will do all we can to transition
your course to a virtual format. Otherwise, you will have the opportunity to choose an alternative class or receive a full refund.
