Agriculture Complex at Heartland
The Agriculture Complex at Heartland Community College will serve as the focal point of our agriculture education and training programs. This 29,500 square foot facility will allow us to increase our ability to recruit and maintain agriculture students across the district as well as inspire others to consider careers in the agriculture industry.
Why is This Important?
Agriculture is a leading economic driver for our community, and yet one out of every three job postings in this field currently remains empty. The agriculture field is in need of a skilled workforce to fill the roles our community needs to sustain this vital industry. Heartland Community College has recognized this need and stepped up to help train the agriculture workforce of tomorrow by growing the number of courses and certificates available 4 fold in less than 2 years. In order to adequately serve these programs, more space dedicated to agriculture education is needed.
What Can You Do?
By giving a gift in support of the HCC Agriculture Complex, you can help ensure that we are able to train the skilled workers needed to keep our local agriculture industry an economic driver in our community.
