HALO Initial 2-Year Program

Program Description

The HALO Certificate is a 2 year non-degree credential. Students work to gain an understanding of academics, soft skills, and life skills necessary for a successful transition to adulthood. These goals are met through structured course work, integration into campus life, and independence while on campus.

HALO students receive exposure to various social and academic enrichment opportunities to support the students growth in the areas of:

  • Developing independence and time management skills
  • Being able to make decisions
  • Becoming more responsible
  • Learning to self-advocate
  • Having an excellent college experience

View our HALO Brochure (PDF) for additional information.

For those interested in our HALO Program we encourage you to call to schedule a classroom visit and information session with a HALO staff member.
