Student Alerts: Request Support for a Student
Our Success Coaches want to get in touch with your students prior to the withdraw deadlines to give students an opportunity to drop a class if that's the best choice for them. In addition, throughout the semester, our goal is to intervene early when students are struggling to connect them with the support they need to succeed. If you would like to request that a coach reach out to one of your students please submit an alert through EAB Navigate.
Instructions with pictures (PDF)
- Log into Navigate (heartland.campus.eab.com).
- Quick Search for each student (the search bar at the top of the page)
- When on the student's record, click "Issue an alert" on the right bar.
- Choose "REFER: Success Coaching - Attendance."
- Choose your class from the second drop down.
- Add any comments/details that you would like us to know.
Coaches will reach out via text message, phone call, and email within two business days of receiving the alert. You may use this process throughout the semester to alert Success Coaches of personal, financial, or academic concerns. Once a coach has completed their outreach they will close the alert and you will receive an email update.
