Textbook Swap
Textbooks are a big part of your college expenses. The good news is there’s a great way to cut those costs and help other students at the same time!
The Student Government Association founded the Textbook Swap in Spring 2013. Since then, the swap has saved Heartland students over $185,000. Participating in the swap means more money in your pocket if you take part!
Here's How It Works
For each textbook you donate you receive a credit for a future Swap. 1 credit = 1 book. (Certain restrictions apply.) Credits are good for up to three semesters, so if you don't find a book you need one time, you can save it for the next.
Don't have a book to donate? That's OK. During Money Day you can make a $10 donation and get a book you need. We use the funds raised on Money Days to support future swaps, special projects, activities, and scholarships.
The Textbook Swap occurs the first week of classes during the Fall and Spring semesters.
