Night Hawks Program

Through the Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant from the U.S. Department of Education, the Child Development Lab (CDL) at Heartland is able to expand services to offer after-hours child care to students in need of care during the evening!

The program will be available Monday-Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the CDL at the Normal campus. Students may choose to use the service to utilize services such as the computer lab, library, tutoring services, or may choose to attend a course during this time. Parents or guardians must be on campus at all times while their child is at the CDL. 

Financial assistance may be available for qualified students.

New Process For Summer Night Hawks Care Request:

In order to request to receieve care during Night Hawks Program Hours you need to complete the following Google Form 24 hours in advance. Once a care request is approved you will recieve a separate email confirmation from Kadi.Juris@heartland.edu. If you have not recieved a confirmation email from Kadi.Juris@heartland.edu please reach out to Kadi Juris.
