Other Projects

The Facilities Master Plan calls for a number of other projects that will transform the Main Campus. 

Projects include rennovations of the Workforce Development Center (WDC) to house student services, Science Lab remodels, infrastructure updates, and additional work on the Landscape Master Plan.

Below see a list of projects that are ongoing, completed, or planned for the near future.

Constitution Trail Extension/Birky Pond

Adding a walking/biking trail and other features around Birky Pond, connecting to Constitution Trail. Prairie restoration around the pond will include a controlled burning of invasive species in the fall of 2025.

Timeline: 4/24/25 - 10/31/25

Science Lab Renovations (Phase 2)

Additional rennovations to science labs on the first floor of ICB. Renovated labs for chemistry, organic chemistry, and earth sciences.

Timeline: 3/1/25 – 9/15/25

Exterior Painting Projects

Exterior painting on FRC, ICB, ICN, and RSB.  

Timeline 4/25/25 - 9/1/25

ICN Computer Networking

Rennovation of classrooms for networking, cyber-security, CAD, more.

Timeline: 6/1/25 - 12/1/25

WDC Student Center

Counseling and Esports rennovations om upper floors begin in spring of 2025 with a target for completion in December 2025.  In 2026 work is expected to redesign of south entrance.  Move of Enrollment Services, Adult Education and Student Access and Accommodation Services to second floor.
