Important Financial Aid Dates FALL 2024

Dates listed are contingent on your completion of requested tasks listed on your tasks tile and if corrections need to be made to your FAFSA.  

Fall 2024 Grant Refund Schedule

Summer 2024 Grant Refund Schedule

Fall 2024 Loan Refund Dates

Borrower Information Sheet, Entrance Loan Counseling, and Master Promissory Note must be completed and accepted by the dates below:

*HCC reserves the right to change these dates. Last day to request loan for Fall is November 13, 2024.  

*verification must be completed by November 13, 2024 for loan eligibility. 
*full year loan requests after November 13, 2024 will not be processed until after the drop period for Spring 2025.
*cancellation of loans for fall 2024 begins September 9, 2024. if all loan checklist items are not completed and accepted prior to September 9, 2024.  For loan(s) to be re-instated you will need to contact the Financial Aid Office. 

Spring 2025 Loan Refund Dates

Borrower Information Sheet, Entrance Loan Counseling, and Master Promissory Note must be completed and accepted by the dates below:

 HCC reserves the right to change theses dates.

*Last day to process loans is (posted soon), if all loan task items are completed and loans accepted.  Cancellation of loans for Spring 2025 will begin (posted soon), if loans have not been accepted and all loan tasks not completed.
*Final cancellation of full year loans and Spring only loans is (posted soon). For Loan(s) to be re-instated you will need to contact the Financial Aid Office.

Summer 2025 Loan Refund Dates

New Borrowers

*First time borrowers or previous borrowers that have not borrowed during 24-25 year are considered new borrowers. Loans cannot be disbursed until at least 30 days after the first day of class. The loan will be divided into two disbursements at one time.

Student must complete summer loan request to borrow. Borrower Information Sheet, Entrance Loan Counseling, and Master Promissory Note must be completed and loan accepted by (posted soon).

Continuing Borrowers Only

*Students are considered continuing borrowers if they have borrowed during the Fall 2024, Spring 2025. Summer Loan request is required and completion of the Borrower information, Entrance Loan Counseling and Master Promissory Note.

Students that accepted and completed all steps by (posted soon) or prior will have two separate disbursements (divided in half). Each disbursement will be on separate dates.
