Student Educational records are maintained by the Records Office. You can submit documentation to the Records Office that could lower your tuition, waive a placement test(s) or get credit for previously completed courses or exams. When you are ready to move on to the next phase, you can order a transcript from the Records Office.
Heartland accepts transcripts from regionally accredited institutions including, but not limited to:
- ACCJC: Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACCJC) (California)
- HLC: Higher Learning Commission (HLC) (Middle America)
- NECHE: New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) (Very North East)
- NWCCU: Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) (North West)
- SACSCOC: Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) (South)
- WSCUC: WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) (California)
- MSCHE: Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) (NY, PA, NJ, MA, DE)
