Test out of Courses

Proficiency exams are available if you want to earn credit by examination. Exams can be taken one time only.

Exam Appointments: A course proficiency exam should be completed at least two weeks before the beginning of a term to allow time for credit processing.

Cost

The cost to register for each exam is $50. If you do not pass, $25 will be refunded.

Register

Registration forms are available from the Testing Center in Student Commons Building room 2002, and at the Lincoln and Pontiac Centers. The $50 registration fee should be submitted to the Business Office in the Community Commons Building, suite 2100.

Current Proficiency Exams

Language proficiency exams are no longer available as of June 2017. Please contact the Testing office to ask about language placement test options.
