Guaranteed Admission Agreement 

It’s never been easier to transfer from Heartland to Illinois Wesleyan. With this agreement, students who complete an articulated HCC to IWU program plan with a 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) in transferrable coursework, and submit official transcripts, are eligible for guaranteed admission. Work with your Heartland advisor to ensure you are on track to complete your plan. 

Transfer students from community colleges to Illinois Wesleyan can expect:

• Full consideration of all Merit Scholarships
• Associates degree articulation
• Full Access to Transfer Counselor 
• Free application
• If previously applied to IWU, a student can "reignite" their application
• Special Transfer Orientation event
• And perhaps most importantly: we will work in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE to ensure an on time graduation
