Students completing the Industrial Specialist Skills Certificate will be prepared as entry-level employees for a broad array of industrial and technical organizations. This certificate emphasizes the core skills needed for entry-level industrial and automation jobs. Students will gain foundational knowledge in industrial tools, electrical and mechanical safety, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, and industrial networking. Industrial and technical organizations will be encouraged to consider this certificate as part of their new employee onboarding process.
