Students completing the Mechatronics I: Controls certificate will gain the essential skills in electricity, fluid power, mechatronics, and automation controls needed for entry-level roles supporting industrial and building systems. This certificate is a stackable, employment-focused credential that strengthens students’ readiness for immediate workforce entry while also providing a pathway into advanced coursework in PLCs, automation, and systems. Students must complete the Mechatronics I: Controls certificate prior to enrolling in the advanced coursework included in the Mechatronics II: Systems certificate.
