Faculty Resources

The Heartland Community College Testing Center, a National College Testing Association (NCTA) Certified Test Center, serves both Heartland students and members of the local community.

 

For Heartland students, the Testing Center supports those who:

  • Are enrolled in Online *with additional requirements of Testing, and Hybrid Courses
  • Have SAAS-approved testing accommodations
  • Have received instructor permission to complete a make-up exam

For the community and external partners, the Testing Center administers a variety of academic, certification, licensure, and workforce-related exams. These include, but are not limited to:

  • CNA
  • NHA
  • Pearson VUE
  • Meazure Learning
  • Apprenticeship Programs
  • Community-based Organization

To ensure all testing services are delivered in a secure, confidential, and efficient manner, the Testing Center has established the following guidelines and procedures.

  • Fall 2026 Faculty ERFT Instructions offers step-by-step instructions on how to submit the Electronic Request for Testing Form.
  • Alternate Illinois Testing Sites (PDF) lists Testing Centers and Institutions that could potentially serve as an alternate Course Exam Testing Site for students needing to test externally and are unable to use Honorlock These arrangements must be made by the student, instructor, and chosen alternate testing site.
