Reserves

For Students

Heartland Library provides physical access to course related materials placed on reserve by faculty. Reserves are located at the library desk. Most reserves are for in-library use only and can be checked out using your Heartland ID. The overdue fine for reserve items is $20 per day. To search for course reserves, use I-Share and choose to search "Course Reserves" after typing in your search term(s).

For Faculty

Reserves make course materials with anticipated high usage rates available to students for shorter loan periods. Traditional reserves include textbooks, CDs, and DVDs, and can be personal copies of items or HCC Library items. Reserves can be checked out for in-library use, 24-hours, or 1-week. All items placed on reserve must have appropriate copyright clearance. For questions about copyright, contact Rachelle Stivers.

For questions about reserves contact Erin Zimmerman.
