Hometown Hawks is a local program for Livingston County students who maintain enrollment in at least one HCC undergraduate/credit class. The goal is to connect students with HCC services and activities, help build network of friends and instructors, and provide social events at the Pontiac location.
Anyone enrolled in an HCC undergraduate/credit class at Pontiac, Normal, or Lincoln and lives in Livingston County is eligible to be a Hometown Hawk. Classes can be in-person or online.
There is no cost to be a Hometown Hawk. However, participants must register with the Hometown Hawks Pontiac student group, attend an orientation, and participate in activities.
By being a Hometown Hawk, you and your fellow Livingston County area students can:
- Participate in local activities with other students
- Take group road trips to the Normal campus
- Utilize HCC services at the Pontiac location
